Dive site name: CathedralLocation: South Africa - Aliwal ShoalDate of dive: July 2006 Profile: 90ft (28m) Visiblity: 60ft (18m) Type of dive: Reef dive Dive site rating: Dive operator used: SeaFever Review:The dive site resembles the dome shape of a pumpkin with the top cut off and a big archway marking the entrance. Ragged-tooth sharks were gathered inside and we were rewarded with some fantastic close up encounters. After a while the sharks moved off, but as we continued with the dive we saw more of them. Some of them literally bumping into us. Visiblity was ok that day. The current was a little strong, otherwise and excellent shark dive! Oh, and we saw whales on the way out to the dive site.Review courtesy of: Online Dive Directory Send this page to friend If you've dived this site why not add your comments |
